Debra F Schneider Esq. attended Rutgers University Law School. She graduated with a law degree in 1978, She was sworn into the New Jersey Bar in December of 1978. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.
Debra F. Schneider Esq. has practiced Family Law throughout her career and more recently has added Education Law to her practice. She has a certificate from the William and Mary Law School, Education Law Center. She represents families with children with disabilities under the American with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and also handles matters concerning the harassment, intimidation, and bullying of children in the school setting.
She was an adjunct at Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey, for more than ten years, teaching family and business law.
She has given numerous hours of free representation to Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, Volunteers Lawyers for Justice, Alternatives to Domestic Violence, and the Center for Hope and Safety.
She has served on and as Chairperson of a New Jersey Fee Arbitration Committee and as a member of Bergen and Passaic Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels through the courts of New Jersey.
